With r = 0.20, $NODE is still strongly net-deflationary.
You will consistently burn far more tokens than you mint, because burns scale with token price while mints scale with USD revenue. The burn side is much stronger than the mint side at this stage of the network.

Now, quick answers:

1. How often will r be adjusted?
Rarely.
r is not meant to change often, it’s a long-term lever. Changes only happen if the community proposes and approves them. Think in terms of quarterly governance discussions, not constant tweaking.

2. Will there be guardrails to prevent over-minting?
Yes.
Burns overpower mints at this r value. There is also an existing emissions cap. And most importantly: minting cannot increase unless the DAO explicitly votes for it.

3. What about low revenue periods? Are incentives at risk?
